Our pastor, Brother Jeremy Holloway, was born and raised in a small town in East Central Alabama. Jeremy joined the Army National Guard at the age of 17 and served for 9 years including a one year tour in Iraq as a Military Policeman. He also attended college and studied Radiography that gave him a career as a Radiology Technologist that later led to him working in the field of the sale and service of Radiology equipment. Jeremy was successful in his career but none of that gave him fulfillment in his heart. He had been religious since the age of 9 years old, he was even baptized, but it wasn't until he was 27 years old that he saw himself as a sinner and that he could not save himself through his good works or success. Under conviction from the Holy Ghost, he repented of his sins and asked the Lord to save him.
After Jeremy was saved, he began as the Bible says to experience a new life with peace and joy that he would never have found in this world alone. Within two years of being saved he realized that the God that had saved him was now calling him to preach His Word. Some three years later, God called Jeremy and his family to be missionaries in Africa. After living for 4 years in South Sudan and Uganda, which are both located in East Africa, God closed the way for the Holloway family to live in Africa full time. After much prayer and seeking the Lord, a door opened for them to minister in the African immigrant community in the capacity of Pastor at Falls International Baptist Church here in the United States in Sioux Falls, SD. The Holloway Family is still leading and directing their ministries in East Africa and visit as often as the Lord allows.
Our pastor's heart is to see lives changed for the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ and strong local churches planted throughout the world.
